20 Μαρ 2013 · Check Mods Folder: Your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\ folder should look like the picture, with three items inside... two folders, one called "Overrides" and one called "Packages" and one file called Resource.cfg. Double-click on the folder called "Packages" to open it.
From your start menu, it's File Explorer>Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3>Mods. I just did the Windows 10 thing, too. It's a little bewildering til you figure out where all your familiar stuff is now.

16 Ιουν 2024 · Download a mod and extract it to the "Packages" section of The Sims 3 documents folder. Start up your game to test if the mods work correctly. Download reputable mods that are compatible with the patch level of your game.
5 Ιουν 2023 · Creating a Mods folder. In the Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 folder, create a new folder and name it Mods. In this Mods folder create again a new folder and name it Packages. Download the resource.cfg file and place it in the Mods folder (not in the Packages folder): Resource.cfg.
