After the Greek revolution of 1821 and finally the establishment of the Modern independent Greek state in 1830 with the Treaty of London, Its territorial area included parts of Sterea Ellas, the islands of Evia, Sporades, Cyclades and the Peloponnese, unrest prevailed in the country.
