15 Νοε 2020 · The 75 most cited reviews on teaching methods listed in the Web of Science from 1980 to 2017 were analysed. Since our interest is the claims made in each article about the teaching method under study, the analysis concerned the abstract, results, discussion, conclusion, and implication parts of each review.
Key contemporary teaching methods, including cooperative learning, project-based learning, gamification, spaced learning, flipped classrooms, tactile learning, and blended learning, are identified through this literature review and expert consultation.
A comparative analysis of traditional and modern teaching methods reveals that both have unique strengths and weaknesses. Traditional methods offer structure and depth, ensuring comprehensive content coverage and objective assessment.
