According to Forbes, MonaVie's business plan resembled a pyramid scheme. In 2015, the company defaulted on a US$182 million loan and went into foreclosure. Florida-based Jeunesse Global took over MonaVie’s assets when it purchased the note for $15 million.
15 Οκτ 2021 · Yes, MonaVie was deemed to be operating as a pyramid scheme. Their members were not able to make money unless they were recruiting new members into the company. They did have real products, but their focus was on you recruiting more people, rather than selling products that helped people be healthy.
I had no idea what a pyramid scheme was and my naivety was taken advantage of. Another common thing they did was host these parties in a really lavish million $ houses in order to impress upon people the kind of wealth you could attain.
8 Μαρ 2014 · Back when I exposed MonaVie as a scam, there were a couple of individuals at the top that were of note. One of them is Orrin Woodward that was written up in Forbes for running a pyramid within a pyramid.
