RTF Refund – County Form. Directions and Form for Claiming RTF Refund from Monmouth County (form to be used along with the State RTF-3 form) Seller’s Residency Certification/Exemption. (GIT/REP-3) Each resident seller (1 form for husband/wife) must complete one of these forms at the closing.
If the assessed value of the property subject to the appeal exceeds $1,000,000, a taxpayer or taxing district may file a petition of appeal with the county board of taxation or a complaint with the Tax Court directly in accordance with amendatory legislation and Tax Court rules.
The form should include the name, address, tax map municipality, block and lot(s) of the property, instrument number or book and page, if known. The fee is $2.00 per page. The document may be returned via mail or customer pick up.
