21 Μαρ 2021 · I own Addictive Drums 2 with most of the rock oriented ADpaks - black velvet, Fairfax, indie rock, blue oyster etc. It sounds good but I’m wondering if SD3 would be a step up. I find the cymbals can be overbearing and harsh in AD2 and hard to find a good balance with.
If you don't already have Ezd2, then yes, you need to buy EZD3. If you’re looking to just get up and running the free version of Steven Slate has a couple of fully working kits. It’s the full VST. It’s quite often on on offer as well if you do decide to go ahead and purchase. I got it for £99. Having said that I use Ezdrummer 3 at the minute.

You have to sign up for an account and you also might need a German address on hand? (might be able to use a us one, I just didn't feel like trying and have to redo it anyway.) Just a heads up for those getting it. whats so good about it? It's sample based. You can choose from various drum kits recorded in some of the best studios out there.
