18 Απρ 2018 · As mentioned, it's the same amp as the Laney Cub 8, except the Laney has two input jacks (high and low), whereas the Stage Right has a panel switch that toggles between high and low. There does not appear to be enough room inside the cab to upsize to a 10" speaker, although there might be one out there small enough.
I haven't tried them, but for what it is, it's a great price! For a small low-wattage tube amp I have a tweed 5f1 "fender champ" style amp I built from a kit, that cost more than twice that, and sounds great with the very simplest of circuits.
I’ve been looking for a low wattage, cheap tube I could blast the hell out of, and had to grab one of the Monoprice Stage Right 5w tube combos when they came back in stock. I know I’m not the first one around here to snag one.
