18 Απρ 2018 · The preamp tube was totally unmarked, and the manual says it is a 12AX7. I would say it's a very low gain 12AX7, as compared with a JJ ECC83S. Once I put the JJ in there, it was a one-way ticket to Crunch Town (and a big loss in clean headroom). Tube Swap Test: For the preamp: JJ 12AX7 vs JJ 12AT7.

Around 2017 Monoprice introduced the new version Mono Price Stage Right 15W Tube Amp (611815) with all controls mounted on the front on a chrome panel with a Power wattage push button switch near the power switch .
