I can access the YTTV homepage via Chrome browser, and I can see the little "preview" windows working, but clicking on/opening any program/stream results in the error message. I do not have this issue with Netflix, Hulu, Vue, or with regular YouTube videos (non-YTTV content).

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.0.0. Additional Information: I did enable the Widevine extension when it came up but that didn’t work.
Agree with this; errors like this are usually related to an external monitor (or even a cable) not having the correct protections.
