Montara State Beach is a wide mile-long beach just north of Montara along the San Mateo County Coast. Behind the beach there are stunning sculpted sandstone cliffs and rolling hills of the coastal range making this a very picturesque spot.

8 Απρ 2018 · Nice beach with plenty of clean, white sand. Some interesting geology too. Parking is limited at the official beach lot, but don't hesitate to park just to the north on HWY 1. Water often way too rough for swimming.
