Monte Markham (born June 21, 1935) [1] is an American actor. He has appeared in films, television series, and on Broadway. Early life. Markham was born in Manatee County, Florida, one of four sons of Millie Content (née Willbur) and Jesse Edward Markham Sr., who was a merchant.

Biography. Upon returning to the United States after serving in the military during the Korean War, Monte Markham attended the University of Georgia and acted in various local theater productions. His love of theater eventually found him performing with the prestigious Shakespeare festivals in San Diego and Ashland, respectively.
