The 14th (actually the 13th) floor is particularly haunted; a little boy in a striped shirt has been seen. He’s believed to be Maurice, son of Josephine and Jacques Begere, who stayed at the hotel in the late 19th century. Maurice was killed when runaway horses threw him from the buggy.
