17 Ιαν 2018 · I wanted to bring up the topic of the purple colored 10 year/150K mile Mopar engine coolant that FCA has been using since about 2013 and possible aftermarket alternatives to it. For something you only have to service once every 10 years or 150,000 miles, I wouldn't try and save $5 or $10 on some unknown coolant.
2 Νοε 2021 · Well, the dye does not make antifreeze's incompatible. All Antifreezes use the same antifreeze ingredients that don't wear out, the Ethelene glycol and a little diethylene glycol. What makes them different is the anti-corrosion package and that is what wears out.
Between MS 12106 and MS 90032, there are a few significant differences. MS 12106 is ready to use but MS 90032 requires to be mixed with water. MS 12106 has a slightly higher freezing point. MS 90032 is slightly more expensive than MS 12106.
