Morse was the 'American customer' and (in this case) Toyota was the manufacturer. Toyota made the machines and placed a very legible label on the machines in a very nice wide flat spot and it was easily read-able.

For just sewing normal material, yeah this looks like a pretty solid machine and should provide years of reliable use. Like I always advise though, call a local or within the same state as you repair shop and see if they have heard of the machine and if they would work on it.
