For just sewing normal material, yeah this looks like a pretty solid machine and should provide years of reliable use. Like I always advise though, call a local or within the same state as you repair shop and see if they have heard of the machine and if they would work on it.
28 Ιαν 2020 · While Morse Fotomatic 4100 has its quirks, it is still a great home sewing machine because it drives fast and makes beautiful buttonholes. It handles light materials well and goes around soft curves and corners easily in spite of not having a free arm (like modern machines).
I'm new to sewing, never used a machine, and need some help finding resources online about how to use, set up, etc. this machine. The manual that it comes with is no help, and everything I've found online has been absolutely useless.

18 Μαρ 2020 · The all-metal Morse sewing machines weighed more than a boat’s anchor and were very durable. This one has stood the test of time and its parts seem to be in good working order. Our problem has been that we were able to find owner’s manuals for a variety of Morse sewing machines but not this model.
• 3 yr. ago. I have one almost identical, a Morse 400, that has the original warranty card/sales receipt from March 1961. The Morse 400 was being sold around the same time as the Morse Super Dial, as they are both listed on that advertisement. So my guess would be between 1960-1963 or so.
