Those that leave the military in 25U MOS eventually find careers as radio mechanics, operators, installers, and repairers.
25U's AIT is very simple. Most of it won't be used at your first unit, outside of terminology and signal flow. Vast majority of 25-series learn via on-the-job training.
Which mos would you pick and why? I am joining the army and am down to these two mos choices. Although there is a good amount of information on 25U, there is not too much information on the new 25H mos. My top choices were 17C and 25D, but those were no longer available.
Been 25U for 12 yrs, It is a good MOS. You will get training Ed on some of all 25 series duties. We really don't go to signal unit as much as other signal MOSs could but it is possible.
