11 Δεκ 2023 · As a 25U, you are the technical assistance that commanders rely on for the proper functioning of communications equipment. Your job duties extend to installing and maintaining local area networks, and ensuring that automated systems like radio and data distribution systems operate effectively.
25U's AIT is very simple. Most of it won't be used at your first unit, outside of terminology and signal flow. Vast majority of 25-series learn via on-the-job training. After the Army, if you just did 4-years and maybe got Sec+, you can probably do Tier-1 helpdesk and the associated work for around $50,000 or so.
