24 Φεβ 2012 · Nice review. Reading it it sounds like the 410 pump is a good choice for your situation. A 12 guage is my first choice but I would have no problem with a 410's stopping power when loaded with buckshot.

12 Ιουν 2007 · Bigger capacity magazines can be bought as long as you’ve got dispensation from your local firearms department to own one on a firearm certificate. The pump action is both smooth and positive with the safety catch being neatly positioned on the gun’s top tang.
410 is.. awkward as a self defense round. As others have said, minimum load for a .410 is a slug... which is less effective than a .45 colt (same diameter though.. so there's that...). If you're set on a shotgun, a 20/16 gauge can be comfortable to shoot and effective.
18 Ιουλ 2022 · This technique works with all shotguns to minimize felt recoil, not just stockless shotguns like the Shockwave series. Using push-pull with the Mossberg Shockwave 410 reduced my perception of recoil considerably, especially when shooting 3-inch buckshot.
