I use the Spectro Heavy Duty Platinum 6-speed Transmission Oil in my FLTRSE3. I am very pleased with how it shifts and the reduced gear noise. I am sure the other oils they offer are of very good quality.
20 Ιουλ 2008 · Amsoil had an independant third party do an oil study in March 2006 and the Amsoil motorcycle oil came out on top. Spectro was 4th place, but Amsoil chose to test the Spectro semi synthetic instead of the Spectro full synthetic which makes me suspicious.
The best motorcycle oil will ensure that your engine works properly, purring like a cat. The harsh truth is that inferior-quality oil can harm your engine in the long-run.
12 Ιουλ 2017 · I switched to Spectro Oil and am very happy with it. I went from Red Line to Bel Ray and now Spectro. I am using Their Heavy Duty Platinum Full Synthetic 20W50 in the engine, Their HDP Full Synthetic 6 Speed Transmission Fluid and Their HD Primary Chaincase Oil.
13 Δεκ 2011 · Key part is the MA rating. It means the oil meets the Japanese Automotive Standards Organization requirements for a motorcycle compatable oil. It has the preferred blend based on JASO standards. Not a bad thing for sure. Bad part - you could buy Rotella at $13/gallon (about 4 litres) that has the same JASO MA rating.
