I use the Spectro Heavy Duty Platinum 6-speed Transmission Oil in my FLTRSE3. I am very pleased with how it shifts and the reduced gear noise. I am sure the other oils they offer are of very good quality.
20 Ιουλ 2008 · Amsoil had an independant third party do an oil study in March 2006 and the Amsoil motorcycle oil came out on top. Spectro was 4th place, but Amsoil chose to test the Spectro semi synthetic instead of the Spectro full synthetic which makes me suspicious.

26 Αυγ 2010 · All mainstream automotive oils today (including M1, Rotela diesel and Delo) are limited to 600-700 ppm. They also lacked the shear stability and addative packages that motorcycle oils have. Whether you use my brand or not, I would personally not use automotive oil in motorcycle applications.
12 Ιουλ 2017 · I switched to Spectro Oil and am very happy with it. I went from Red Line to Bel Ray and now Spectro. I am using Their Heavy Duty Platinum Full Synthetic 20W50 in the engine, Their HDP Full Synthetic 6 Speed Transmission Fluid and Their HD Primary Chaincase Oil.
