To update the firmware on your Arris SURFboard SBG6580 router, follow these steps: 1. Open a web browser on your computer and type in the IP address for the router: 192.168.0.1. 2. Enter the username and password to log in to the router's settings.
Then, run the Wi-Fi Installation wizard on the SBG6580 Installation CD to reconnect to the network. See the Troubleshooting section in the User Guide for more information.
