I was wondering if anyone with fibromyalgia get mottled skin after standing for more than 10 mins? This picture was taken after washing a sink of dishes. My neurologist thought that I might have POTS due to my lightheadedness.
My feet/legs turn purple/blue when I shower but they usually feel fine, they just look concerning. My feet don't usually fall asleep unless I'm sitting on them so that's not it, though my hands do sometimes when I'm using my phone while lying on my back.
You have what's medically refered to as "mottled skin", and generally, it's not something to be super concerned by. Slow or poor circulation is often the culprit, but it happens for other reasons as well. Look it up online, but don't assume the worst when you're researching.
