18 Σεπ 2022 · So I decided to buy Motu M2, but I am so confused by its revision and all the different reviews online, let me number some of them. 1. Some say it's the best interface in the price range with a phenomenal DAC (one that Apogee uses), others say its DAC is to avoid.
The Motu M2 destroys the Avid 20k $ I bought in 2010. If you think you're not be able to do good production with M2, then you should complain about the hundreds of thousands of albums recorded and mixed with Avid systems since the last 20 years.

21 Ιαν 2023 · I have the M2, it got rave reviews back when but I'm unimpressed. Sounds clinical, not bad but something is missing. I use the Tascam Model 12 for my recordings, maybe not as super clean but a warm and musical sound that is just right in every way.
MOTU M4 & M2. MOTU's debut entry-level interfaces offer professional performance at a cut‑down price. MOTU are not known for entry-level audio interfaces, favouring the more high-end side of multichannel audio, and so the M2 and M4 USB‑C interfaces with only two in/out and four in/out respectively came as a welcome surprise.
