Lets talk about Troop trees. One of the biggest pulls for me to get into a mod are the way the troop trees are made for it and the balancing behind it, they define not only how the factions will be unique military-wise but also the possibilities the player has to build his army.
You can basically create a new unit for each tier (for example recruit for tier 1, soldier for tier 2, veteran for tier 3 and so forth), then set the upgrade path for your selected unit's recruit to lead into your newly created troop tree.
Which faction troops would I go for to get the most out of their intended role for Light Infantry (shock troopers with two-handed melee), Cavalry, Cavalry Archers, Archers, Heavy Melee (Nord Huscurls), and some Jack-of-all-Trades as back-up?
