If you want a good troop overhaul mod try "De Re Militari" its on nexus. It divides the faction troop trees to levies, professionals and nobles. The most realistic early-high medieval troops mod i have encountered.
There is a mod for that called MC Amazon Troops (need to login on Nexus to see) which includes amazonian-female-themed troops with their own tree to emperial cities. If you are a modder, you can add new troop trees into existing kingdoms using the Adonnay's Troop Changer mod.
