The trailhead starts off through a really nice area, with lots of wildflowers in the spring. Eventually, you pop out onto a fire road and follow that upwards for the majority of the hike, and then at the Bee Boxes/Water Storage you’ll break left upwards onto a single-track, ruggedly beautiful trail until you reach the summit.
