You can't set individual folder permissions like you can on linux partition because there is no such permissions on an ntfs partition. If you set dmask=077 then only the user will be able to access the folders.

15 Νοε 2018 · I've tried every terminal command I can find by searching for answers. I made a directory to mount the usb stick to but nothing works. I seem to have ntfs-3g and ntfs-config installed. Does anyone know how to mount an ntfs usb stick?

7 Μαΐ 2018 · Mount ntfs drives on Linux. For mounting a ntfs drive on Linux machines, we will need a package ‘ntfs-3g’ installed on the system. For CentOS, this package is available with the EPEL repositories & for Ubuntu machines, its available with the default repositories.
