19 Δεκ 2012 · These are films that moved me deeply in one way or another. The cinema is the greatest art form ever conceived for generating emotions in its audience. That's what it does best. (If you argue instead for dance or music, drama or painting, I will reply that the cinema incorporates all of these arts).
14 Δεκ 2012 · I am faced once again with the task of voting in Sight & Sound magazine's famous poll to determine the greatest films of all time. Apart from my annual year's best lists, this is the only list I vote in. It is a challenge. After voting in 1972, 1982 and 1992, I came up with these ten titles in 2002:

Every year, the British magazine "Sight & Sound" would poll the world's top critics, asking them what they consider the best movies of all time. In honor of the great Roger Ebert, I will post his choices from over the years.
