Depending on the season, you can get a direct flight from hubs like Atlanta, Charlotte, New York, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale for relatively cheap. Our favorite site to search for flights is Skyscanner followed closely by Kiwi and CheapOAir.

The city booms with historical structures, jewelry shops, Caribbean cuisine restaurants, boutiques, gourmet shops, and more that can be explored by walk, boat trips, or cheap taxis.
Both are located on the south side of the island not far from Charlotte Amalie. Generally, the ships of Carnival Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, and Royal Caribbean (except Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas) dock at Havensight.
23 Αυγ 2018 · Flying to St. Thomas can be a relatively quick affair depending on where you are coming from. It's under two hours to fly from Miami into the Cyril E. King Airport, just west of the central business district in Charlotte Amalie.

I moved to St. Croix from KC almost 8 years ago. St. Thomas is too big and busy for me. However, the best thing I did was to subscribe to the paper for almost a year before I moved. The Virgin Islands Daily News carries the most information about St. Thomas. The Avis covers St. Croix and St. Thomas.
