10 Μαΐ 2023 · If I press F11 to run Firefox in full screen mode (or click the full screen button, or select full screen in the menus), then I get the same bug even when not viewing a video. That is, I see the webpage in not quite full screen and I see the same webpage "behind" it in the margins.
5 Δεκ 2013 · I have been having trouble watching YouTube videos in Firefox over the last few weeks. Basically, the video will start up and if i keep it in the small video player mode it works fine. But if I click full screen the video will stop for several seconds, then catch up and repeat this to the end of the video.
30 Αυγ 2022 · If you had freeze issues when watching YouTube videos, Firefox 104.0.1 is released to fix this.
After updating to the latest 113.0 version when i watch a video on YouTube in full screen, the right, left and bottom side of the video is cut. Keep in mind that this happens all the time no matter if I'm connected to my google account or not.
2 Μαρ 2023 · Fix YouTube fullscreen video not using the entire viewport width. Solved. One partial solution I found: Go to about:config and change full-screen-api.ignore-widgets to true. This works but it also breaks the app's normal fullscreen mode, causing the OS menubar to remain visible.
20 Ιουλ 2018 · Today, in the middle of viewing a few Youtube videos it became no longer possible to go fullscreen. I tried by pressing F and also by pressing the fullscreen button on the video interface. I tested with Chromium and it works. I'm on Ubuntu 18.04 and Firefox 61.0.1.
13 Φεβ 2021 · Does anyone know of a plugin that actually works to force YouTube to show videos using the full viewport properly? I've tried Enhancer For Youtube, Youtube High Definition, Iridium, and Theater Mode For Youtube, and they are all broken or not working as expected.
