7 Απρ 2016 · Bug reports & end-user support for Akai's MPC Software 'controllers' including the new MPC Studio 2, the MPC Touch, MPC Renaissance & original MPC Studio and MPC StudioB lack.
I've narrowed it down to MPC One, or Maschine Plus. I've searched YouTube for comparisons and people either love the Maschine or hate it. I haven't found much hate on the MPC which has me leaning towards, but I'm still unsure.
I use Maschine studio, and have have owned Maschine Mki, the Mikro MKi and mIkro MKii. The Maschine plus would be what I replace my studio with but I’m waiting to see if they make changes to the chassis and build.
5 Οκτ 2020 · I found the workflow of the MPC to be largely unintuitive while I got along with the Maschine near instantly. An important distinction- the MPC Live has a built in battery but most of its workflow seems based around its touchscreen.
5 Απρ 2024 · Maschine Plus and MPC Live (2) are great groove boxes and performance samplers each with their own strengths and weaknesses. For me it’s M+ (with powerbank) over MPC Live especially if you’re used to the Maschine workflow.
I have a Maschine Studio, a Maschine+, and an MPC Live mk1. Whether one is better than the other will of course come down to personal taste, but I prefer Maschine for 90% of use cases. By a long shot.
21 Οκτ 2020 · What do you prefer about the MPC workflow compared to Maschine? For me the differences have been on the software side and how about things are organized. Both systems are great, but sometimes it comes down to a subjective view, which “feels” better.
