4 Νοε 2024 · 1. Have SMB file sharing turned on. 2. Select the folder(s) you want to share with SMB to the Wii. 3. Edit the smb.config file in the Mplayer CE apps folder with your IP address, folder name, username, and password (If there is one). Remember to enclose the folder name and/or username in parenthesis if there is a space.

Extract the mplayer_ce folder to the apps folder on the SD card. Then run Mplayer_CE with the homebrew channel. See here for how to set up your config files for SMB shares, customising the menu layout in menu.conf, adding input with input.conf and changing default behaviour with mplayer.conf.
4 Νοε 2024 · Mplayer CE is a fork of the Team Twiizers MPlayer port, combining elements of MPlayerWii and GeeXboX. Copy the "mplayer_ce" folder into the "/apps" directory on your sd card and launch it via the HBC. Do not rename the folder. Network Initialising on startup changed, now connects "hidden" in background. Redcar, England, UK.
Added support for IOS58 's USB 2.0 interface. Added direct DVD drive access with AHBPROT. Fixed VP6 decoding.
4 Νοε 2024 · I just got MPlayer CE on my Wii and I want to stream some movies to my HDTV from my Macbook via Wii. I enabled SMB sharing on my Macbook so thats on and I share my Desktop and Downloads folder. I went to mplayer.conf or whatever and add the line on the top:
13 Ιουν 2010 · Can anyone provide a link to a guide that shows how to fully set up the Mplyare CE in order to stream movies from my PC. I have tried using the information on the Mplayer website but have had no success.
I have MPlayer CE and it's really good, but I have been reading about SMB. How do I set this up? Also, is it worth it without USB 2.0 cIOS (which apparently adds stability)? BTW, in case in matters, I have Windows XP on my computer and 3.4E on my Wii.
