The typical cardiovascular effects of various classes of cancer therapy, together with suggested cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging protocols and key metrics provided by each sequence. “Recommended” and “aspirational” CMR imaging sequences to characterize the respective pathologies are suggested.
19 Μαρ 2024 · A CMR mass score of ≥5 predicted a higher risk of all-cause death (P<0.001; hazard ratio, 5.70) at follow-up. CONCLUSIONS: A CMR-derived model, including mass morphology and tissue characterization, showed excellent accuracy, superior to echocardiography, in predicting cardiac masses malignancy, with prognostic implications.
