27 Μαρ 2021 · Sure, a good motor like beavertail might have a little more comfort factor, but it's hard to argue building a complete mud motor for under $600. I've got an SPS (which I think is swamp runner) that I bought used and it's awesome.

One from Beaver Dam Mud Motors (CLP), one from Swamp Runner (SPS), and one from Mud Skipper (use to be KKK but has now change it to CKS).
31 Μαΐ 2017 · I sent an email to Beaver Dam Mud Motors asking if I could talk to someone about reviewing one of their mud motor kits. Almost immediately I got a response from Robert Milner, the owner of Beaver Dam Mud Runners, who is a United States distributor of the Thai company, CLP Long Tails.
Beavertail surface drive. They were one of the most expensive surface drives on the market at one point, so i'm not sure the " get what you pay for" argument is the best one to make. From what i've seen, they were bulky, awkwardly built, no frills, overpriced, and had bad service to boot.
