Come visit our authentic circa 1900's historic Ma & Pa Railroad Heritage Village at Muddy Creek Forks in York County, Pennsylvania. The train, store, and buildings are open during our operating season (June - Sept). The grounds are open for self-guided tours year-round.

Grove General Store with its period merchandise, fascinating rope elevator, player piano, antiques, and exhibits on the railroad and village.
14 Μαρ 2020 · The village at Muddy Creek Forks sits along the railroad line. It is being preserved as an example of a typical railroad community in the steam-engine era. A project of the Maryland & Pennsylvania Railroad Preservation Authority, it depicts what it was like to live in the ‘Forks’ in 1915.
The Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad, affectionately known as the Ma & Pa, connected Baltimore and York on a narrow-gauge line that traced a meandering, scenic 77-mile route. The village at Muddy Creek Forks sits along the railroad line.
Step back to 1915 when the railroad was at the center of village life. Costumed interpreters welcome you to the A.M. Grove General Store, mill and grain elevator. Motorcar trains offer a 5 mile trip through the scenic Muddy Creek Valley on the main line of the famous Ma & Pa Railroad.
