The Wayang Museum is a very convenient and quick museum to visit if you are in the Kota Tua area. It can be easily included in a 2-3 hour visit to Fatahillah Square. The museum itself could use a major facelift and more resources could be put into making it a better museum to visit.
The Puppet Museum (Museum Wayang) is a museum dedicated to the traditional puppetry of Indonesia, showcasing a vast collection of puppets, including wayang kulit (shadow puppets), wayang golek (wooden puppets), and wayang klitik (flat wooden puppets).

Museum ini berlokasi di Jalan Pintu Besar Utara Nomor 27, Pinangsia, Kota Tua, Jakarta Barat. Museum Wayang buka mulai dari hari Selasa sampai Minggu, pukul 09.00 – 17.00 WIB. Pengunjung hanya perlu merogoh kocek sebesar Rp 5.000 per orang. Untuk pelajar dikenakan tarif Rp 3.000.
