  1. Does anybody know some good fishing spots? I’ve been to Muskego lake and grant park and no good luck catching big fish. I’ve caught some small catfish and bluegill

  2. I know of a few places to fish Lake Michigan from shore, but I prefer rivers, streams, and smaller lakes. Try Lake Link. You can pick an area, find a lake, and get fishing reports, discussion, etc. You can catch blue gills all day at Pewaukee Lake. I've fished in Little Muskego, but it was terrible.

  3. Closest non Milwaukee place is the public pier on Pewaukee Lake. West shoreline, just north of the beach. Otherwise most public boat launches allow fishing. Make sure you have your license, all of the public ones are patrolled pretty well.

  4. Would it be possible to paddle on Lake Muskegon or is there a good stretch of the Muskegon river I should paddle? Plan on fishing. Any advice or info about the area would be much appreciated!

  5. Fishing. Hi, I’m new to lake Muskoka and was wondering if anyone had some spots I could check out and what lures work well. I’ve seen a lot of people at the buoys by the Bracebridge river. I’m mostly fishing walleye and bass (want to try lake trout). Thanks in advance.

  6. My wife and I took the canoe out to Eagle Spring Lake near Mukwonago, which connects to Lulu Lake state natural area. Lulu Lake was beautifully clear and undisturbed, felt like we just transported out of the city.

Big Muskego Lake & Bass Bay. The fertile waters of Big Muskego Lake support an excellent fishery with healthy populations of panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye. Fishing is the activity cited by most people as the primary reason they use Big Muskego Lake and Bass Bay.
