Tax-Property Article § 7-208 provides an exemption for the dwelling of a veteran who has a disability that the Veterans' Administration (“VA") has determined is 100% service-connected, permanently, and totally disabling.
Veterans who are 100% disabled, total and permanent, may receive a complete exemption from real property taxes on the dwelling house and surrounding yard. Certain non-remarried surviving spouses may also be eligible for this exemption.
