6 Απρ 2019 · Looks like I learn to live with the distasteful popup videos or stop visiting the internet news sites that use them. The popup videos are not ads but, rather, news stories. I guess the site operator thinks readers like the popups. I find them annoying. Thanks for the advice.
27 Μαΐ 2023 · Every time I go to Fox News, the video at the top of the page drops to the lower right-hand corner. It's an annoyance I've been searching for a way to eliminate. I have pop-ups blocked in preferences and I have a couple of different pop-up blockers, but nothing seems to work.
To turn off Fox News notifications: Tap the ‘Settings’ icon. Scroll down and tap on ‘Application Manager’. Scroll down and tap on ‘Fox News’ Uncheck the ‘Show Notifications’ box.
When one pops up now I just close out my Fox News and quit reading. It’s very disgusting and very frustrating. I’ve been tempted to delete my Fox News app because of this, I keep hoping that they’ll realize what a stupid idea this was, and get rid of it.

The only way around it is to launch the website again, sometimes multiple times. I have my pop-up blocker turned on and don't want to see their ads.
