In the Burmese language, the Burmese Scouts were known as ကင်းထောက်မောင် (IPA: [kɪ́ɰ̃daʊʔ màʊɰ̃]) while the Girl Guides were known as ကင်းထောက်မယ် ([kɪ́ɰ̃daʊʔ mɛ̀]).

Special Plague from WAGGS-APR was presented by WAGGS RD Ching Ching Wee-Ong to the President. In return, he presented plaque of appreciation to WOSM-APR and WAGGGS-APR for supporting the development of Scouting and Girl Guiding in Myanmar.
Girl Scouts from each grade level have one official uniform item (a sash, vest, or tunic) to display badges, pins, awards, and other insignia. This item is required when you participate in ceremonies or officially represent Girl Scouts.
