Today the armor is being displayed at Nauplion Archaeological museum. The armor should have been constructed around the middle of the 15th century BC (Late Helladic II period) and it is being consisted exclusively by bronze plates, in total 18 pieces of different sizes and shapes (full plate armor).

The Dendra panoply or Dendra armour is an example of Mycenaean-era panoply (full-body armor) made of bronze plates uncovered in the village of Dendra in the Argolid, Greece. It is currently on display at the Archaeological Museum of Nafplion .
18 Ιαν 2017 · The earliest sample of a full body armor in Greece was found at the Dendra archeological site, located in the Argolis area. Discovered in May 1960 by Swedish archaeologists, the discovered breastplate, and backplate made of bronze, date to the 15th century BC.
Of particular interest are the ruins of Mycenae and Pylos. The ‘Tarzan Fresco’ at Pylos gives clues as to the nature of Mycenaean warfare during this period. [1] Depicted are three Mycenaean warriors, each clad in helmet, greaves and kilt who battle five ‘barbarians’ clad only in animal skins.
