20 Σεπ 2014 · As part of my totally over-the-top overhaul of my mk1 I'd like to replace the fuel lines. So a few questions: 1) what do I need to replace them with? Can I use copper as per brake lines or do they need to be steel? 2) could I get some nice braided fuel lines and run them from front to back doing away with the hard lines?
15 Νοε 2009 · how are the fuel lines coming to you? as original parts, prebent or as a roll of copper like brake pipes? if prebent, you need to unclip the fuel line at the filter on the pressure side and at the fuel rail connections, undo the mounts and pop the pipes out, feed the new pipe in and reconnect. not entirely certain on the specifics of the return ...
