Lut (Arabic: لوط, romanized: Lūṭ, ), also known as Lot in the Old Testament, is a prophet and messenger of God in the Qur'an. [1] [2] According to Islamic tradition, Lut was born to Haran and spent his younger years in Ur, later migrating to Canaan with his uncle Abraham. [3]
Prophet Lut, known in the Bible as Prophet Lot, was raised by his uncle, Prophet Ibrahim, may peace be upon him. Prophet Lut (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) loved, respected, and believed in Ibrahim’s (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) message even when everyone ridiculed him.
11 Αυγ 2022 · Lut (pbuh) is the son of Harran, who is Hz. Ibrahim’s brother. He is among the first people to believe in Hz. Ibrahim. 1. Hz. Ibrahim was torn into flames as he attempted to deter his people from worshiping idols and stars. But when Allah Almighty ordered the fire, “O fire! Be coolness and peace”, the fire didn’t go out and burn.

Lut AS, as you will recall, left Ur with Ibrahim AS and settled in Palestine. Nothing authoritative is known of Lut’s AS earlier life.
Surah 11 - Hud : 71. وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ قَآئِمَةٌۭ فَضَحِكَتْ فَبَشَّرْنَـٰهَا بِإِسْحَـٰقَ وَمِن وَرَآءِ إِسْحَـٰقَ يَعْقُوبَ. His wife was standing by, so she laughed. And We gave her good news of Isaac; and after Isaac, Jacob. Surah 11 - Hud : 72.
28 Φεβ 2016 · Overwhelmed with despair, Luut, may Allah exalt his mention, prayed to Allah to grant him victory and to destroy the corrupt. Allah Almighty, therefore, sent three angels in the guise of young handsome men in answer to his prayer. They reached the walls of the town in the afternoon.
