Prophet Lut, known in the Bible as Prophet Lot, was raised by his uncle, Prophet Ibrahim, may peace be upon him. Prophet Lut (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) loved, respected, and believed in Ibrahim’s (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) message even when everyone ridiculed him.
Lut (Arabic: لوط, romanized: Lūṭ, ), also known as Lot in the Old Testament, is a prophet and messenger of God in the Qur'an. [1] [2] According to Islamic tradition, Lut was born to Haran and spent his younger years in Ur, later migrating to Canaan with his uncle Abraham. [3]
Prophet Lut (PBUH) - Ayahs from the Quran. Lut. Lot (PBUH) Surah 7 - Al-A'raf : 80. وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَتَأْتُونَ ٱلْفَـٰحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُم بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ. And Lot, when he said to his people, “Do you commit lewdness no people anywhere have ever committed before you?” Surah 7 - Al-A'raf : 81.
Prophet Lut. [7:80] And (We sent) Lut when he said to his people: What! Do you commit an indecency which anyone in the world has not done before you? [7:81] Most surely you come to males in lust besides females; nay you are an extravagant people.
