5 Ιουν 2024 · Tylenol overdose calculator is a tool that works two ways: it lets you count the amount of N-acetylcysteine for paracetamol poisoning and allows you to estimate the drug's toxicity. We base the estimation and prognosis on the validated Rumack Matthew nomogram.
The acetaminophen overdose with NAC dosing calculator is used to determine the N-acetylcysteine dosage (for IV or PO administration) needed to ensure there are no hepatic risks (hepatotoxicity) after ingestion of a high dosage of acetaminophen (APAP) containing drugs (Paracetamol, Tylenol etc).
This calculator is based on data from Rumack and Matthew 1. Treatment threshold levels are calculated to be 25% lower than the toxic drug level. This calculator is only appropriate for patients who had a single ingestion of acetaminophen.
29 Φεβ 2024 · The dosing schedule for the 72-hour oral NAC protocol is as follows: 140 mg/kg loading dose orally. After 4 hours of administering the loading dose, 70 mg/kg should be given every 4 hours for an additional 17 doses, for a total dose of 1330 mg/kg.

Nebulized into a face mask, mouth piece, or tracheostomy: Recommended dosage: 3 to 5 mL of 20% solution, or 6 to 10 mL of 10% solution, 3 to 4 times a day. Dosage range: 1 to 10 mL of 20% solution, or 2 to 20 mL of 10% solution, every 2 to 6 hours.
START NAC. Ingested paracetamol = ≥150mg/kg. Take baseline bloods at least 4hrs since ingestion.
