Does anyone know a company that sells 32 fig battalions in 6mm, preferably on 4 figure strips? An alternative would be 24 fig batallions on 3 fig strips. I want to have 4x 20x20mm bases per batallion for maximum rule flexibility.

Added a sword to one of the light infantry figures so I can use him as a Rifles officer or Rifles NCO. (all Perry Miniatures) ... Looks like they come in sets of 4 (4 officers, 4 drummers etc) so a box set could be split 4 ways, 15 figs each (for the highlanders or French sets, 13 figs for the regular british) for about 6gbp each plus postage ...
For figures I use AB Miniatures for my 15mm (although they are sold as 18mm), you'll get them through Eureka miniatures in the UK. Also Old Glory do their Blue Moon range which fit with them and Museum Miniatures are the same.
When I was a bairn we cut up hair rollers into 2-3 deep ranks, inverted to make a 2 deep 'horse' and 1 deep 'rider' glued to the tops - then people started to produce 6mm figures (H&R, Irregular), but these are quite expensive and encourage 'smaller' unit sizes.

With four battalions to a pack which itself costs only £7.20 for 96 figures you’ll have small force ready for as little as £30. I hope you’ve found this useful.
