Anyone who already signed up to send your name on NASA’s next Mars mission still has a reserved spot. When the Perseverance rover safely touched down on the Martian surface, inside Jezero Crater, on Feb. 18, 2021, it was also a safe landing for the nearly 11 million names on board.
30 Ιουλ 2020 · NASA's Mars Perseverance rover is building a unique rock collection, which also includes samples of Mars atmosphere and loose surface material. These samples record the history of the Jezero Crater landing site, and may even preserve signs of ancient life.
Artemis I will be the first in a series of increasingly complex missions to build a long-term human presence at the Moon for decades to come. Artemis is the name of NASA's program to return astronauts to the lunar surface. We are going forward to the Moon to stay.

We will collaborate with commercial and international partners and establish the first long-term presence on the Moon.

The rover will characterize the planet’s geology and past climate, pave the way for human exploration of the Red Planet, and be the first mission to collect and cache Martian rock and regolith.
