Minor issues, but Old Town has excellent customer service and has always followed-up the same or next business day to correct problems, most under warranty. After spending 10K on kayaks from them, I’d buy more and recommend them to friends, too.

I'm thinking of getting Native Watercraft's Ultimate Tegris hybred kayak. I've been looking at this boat for over a year, and it's on sale now. The main atraction is that it's super light (32 lbs., 36 lbls. w/seat).

The Propel definitely has its fans, and has some nice features -- easy reverse (if you want or need it) and comfortable seat -- but it also has a few problems.
Weighing in at 62 lbs (without the drive unit) the Slayer Propel 10 is the lightest 10′ pedal drive fishing kayak on the market. Light enough to lift car top or effortlessly slide into the back of a pickup, this little titan is the master of hands free fishing.
