The Naval Museum (Spanish: Museo Naval) is a naval museum in Madrid, Spain, devoted to the history of the Spanish Navy since the Catholic Monarchs, in the 15th century, up to the present. It is one of the National Museums of Spain and it is attached to the Ministry of Defence.

The Naval Museum (Museo Naval) reflects the history of the Spanish navy and is managed by the Defense Ministry. The collection contains paintings, coins, navigation instruments and weapons and of course, hundreds of recreations of military and merchant ships.
The site explores the background and history of the Spanish navy, and also offers a panoramic journey through the navies of other countries. Inside, an impressive ethnographic collection is on display in chronological order, from the era of the Catholic Monarchs up to the present day.
A treasure trove of naval charts, scale models of ships, original figureheads, paintings of famous sailors and naval battles, flags, weapons and even fragments of artillery await the interest and appreciation of the naval history enthusiast.
The Naval Museum is located in the Spanish Navy Headquarters. Please note that like in any military building, there are security protocols in place that must be followed at all times.
