At age 25, Malika Andrews is considered one of the up and coming stars in the world of NBA reporting.
Malika Andrews is the face of ESPN’s NBA studio coverage, serving as the host of ESPN’s weekday NBA studio show, NBA Today (2021), covering the league nationally. She also hosts all editions of NBA Countdown. Her work has appeared across multiple ESPN platforms including ESPN.com, SportsCenter and ESPN Radio.
In 2021, Andrews was nominated for an Emmy in the Emerging On-Air Talent category. Andrews has been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists, the National Association of Black Journalists and the Columbia Scholastic Press Association for her work as ESPN's only black female NBA
